Frequently Asked Questions

Is D/O fee the same as DTHC?
No. D/O fee is for issuing the delivery authorization document. DTHC covers the physical terminal handling of the container. Both are separate charges.
Can I avoid D/O fee by using my own agent?
Usually not. The D/O must be issued by the carrier's nominated agent at destination. Using a different agent does not waive the D/O fee.
